“Reflections” by James E. Sjolin
ARTIST STATEMENT:
Art has made a big impact on my life. I was encouraged to draw by my mother and father. I draw and paint in a variety of media such as watercolor, acrylic and charcoal. I also enjoy cooking, fishing and camping. My biggest fans in life are my daughters, Heather and Rachel. This painting (featured) reminds me of nature’s beauty and the time I was at my uncle’s cabin up north; of all of the deer I saw in the woods and by the stream. It was in the fall when the leaves begin turn colors.
