“Crimson Rose, Red and Pink Rose” by Wallace R. White

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Wallace R. White likes to paint and draw roses. “They reappear in my work often,” he says. “Roses are red, but I like to paint them in different colors…like blue or pink,” he adds. Wallace makes art a priority in his daily life. He fills sketchbooks often and enjoys studying nature through his art. Studio time is important to him, too, and he paints and draws regularly in community at Spectrum ArtWorks. He has exhibited his artwork throughout the Twin Cities including the Minneapolis Institute of Art and is involved in the Lola Art Crawl every year, an event held in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis.
